Spokane Birth Boot Camp had such a fun afternoon posing for marketing images.
“Headshots usually make me feel super awkward and weird, but Sue made it feel so easy and comfortable. (Not to mention that the last time I was in front of her camera, I was in the throes of labor and way less clothed...)”
Have you been to the new Hello Sugar location in Spokane Valley yet? Anyone who knows me knows I am a sucker for donuts, coffee and velvet couches...well, HS's Valley location has all three so it's basically my happy place (next to Target...amiright #Targetmoms ?!?)
When I trudged to my closet last night to throw together something suitable for marketing images, it occurred to me that I only have one pair of pants that fit (Is wearing maternity pants 5+ months postpartum a no-go? #askingforafriend ...jk, asking for me. #thirdbaby ) So, I went shopping before the photo shoot and found exactly what I needed (plus some cute clothes on clearance for my kids), purchased some eyeliner for the first time in like 14 months and pulled up to Hello Sugar feeling Super Cute 3000.
Headshots usually make me feel super awkward and weird, but Sue made it feel so easy and comfortable. (Not to mention that the last time I was in front of her camera, I was in the throes of labor and way less clothed...)
Need a photographer for your next birth?
Sue has such a unique style and perspective when it comes to birth photography and I absolutely adore the photos she captured of my laboring experience with my youngest baby. (One of these photos was even featured by Birth Becomes Her for Midwifery Week 2019!...dah, little ol' me, just trying to have a baby- sixth from the bottom) And you guys, she did not fail to deliver for our Spokane Birth Boot Camp photos either...check out some of her amazing work! (They don't call photography an art for nothing, how DID she make us look so effortlessly cool? A true artist, thanks for the beautiful shots Sue!)
